Bowling Green High School’s Bobcats varsity baseball team faced off against the Montgomery County Wildcats in the second game of the Montgomery County tournament April 12 and 13. After six regular innings, the game was called due to an expired hour and 45 minute time limit. The Bobcats were down by a single run, 6-5.
Jake Niemeyer, Brian Moore, and Alex Roy topped the charts with hits, each making two. Darren Feldewerth and David Goddard each got a walk, the most out of the Bobcats. Moore, Feldewerth, Goddard, and Corey Brown each batted in a single RBI. Moore and Brown each made three quality at bats. The Wildcats pitcher proved to be a challenge for the Bobcats batters as the team totaled six strike outs.
