Car collides with school bus
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol – Troop C’s officer Justin Wheatley, on Wendesday, April 17, a two-vehicle accident took place in the Lazy Acres subdivision south of Bowling Green. The collision occurred just before 4 p.m.
Bowling Green R-1 superintendent Darin Powell explained that two young men in a small, four-door car struck the back of a Bowling Green district school bus. Fortunately, the bus sustained little damage as a result of the accident, although the sedan showed significant front-end damage. The 30 students who were on the bus at the time of the collision were unmaimed, but found some excitement in the incident. No injuries were reported in the slow-speed crash.
