Bobcats take big fall at Palmyra

The Bobcats fell to the mercy of the Palmyra Panthers Friday night in the away game. Bowling Green’s offense seemed to be lacking severely as the boys took a 8-0 dive.

Bowling Green only nailed one hit during the entire game. It goes without saying that Palmyra took most of the wins in the stat books.

Bobcat pitchers Andrew Martinson and Brian Moore split the difference of the six innings pitched from a Bobcats mound. They pitched a total of 18 outs, eight from Martinson and 10 from Moore. The Bobcats  allowed for eight hits and eight runs. They threw five earned runs and four bases on balls. Moore pitched one strikeout. Their total strike percentage was 59.8, with Moore’s 61.2 coming in just over Martinson’s 58.5. Moore did take top seat with first pitch strikes, throwing 11; Martinson  pitched eight.
