to remember our future is with Him in heaven.

Carolyn Schreiner, Treasurer, gave the treasurer’s report. Committee chairmen gave their reports and Carolyn Scott gave greetings from the District office.
Election of the offices of Vice President and Secretary were held and both Bode as Vice President and Ruhl as Secretary were reelected.
An invitation from St. John’s, Vandalia, was extended for the Fall Rally on Oct. 26.
Each society had been asked to write a history of their group and a representative of each society read
the history. This was greatly enjoyed by all the ladies.
Following a noon lunch the ladies spent the afternoon tieing quilts the LWML members of Louisiana and Bowling Green had pieced. These quilts will be sent to the Orphan Grain Train and then used around the world where there is a need for a blanket.
Rev. Jeffrey Dock installed the new officers and then lead the group in blessing the quilts and their future use. He also lead in closing devotions using the quilts as an example of Christian women all of various colors and abilities working together to further the kingdom of God.
