First Presbyterian to host VBS on June 1

Bowling Green First Presbyterian education committee has been busy planning summer events for the children.  The summer kicks off with a new format for the VBS.

The First Presbyterian group will be holding a one day Bible School on June 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

This is also the day for the city wide garage sales, so it will be a great opportunity for parents to have their children attend VBS while they garage sale.

This year they will introduce the children to five stories in the Bible: Noah, Jonah, Women and the Well, Walking on Water, and Lydia.  They will learn the story and have an activity.

Then the group will expand upon the stories during the regular summer Sunday School, which begins at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.

In June the groups will study Noah and Jonah; for July-Women and the Well and Walking on Water; and conclude in August with Lydia.

You may contact the church office at 324-2477 for more information or to sign your youngster up.  They look forward to seeing you there.
