BGMS holds eighth grade promotion

Bowling Green Middle School and principal Kim Pafford hosted the annual ceremony for eighth grade promotion last Thursday, May 16. The commencement was held in the BGHS gym and began at 7 p.m. The event was very well attended.

Marcia Tepen and music teacher Elaine Carty led the choir in the National Anthem and “When We Are Singing a Song.” The seventh and eighth grade band then performed “Engines of Resistance.”

Christie Stratton, BGMS counselor, then presented the President’s Education Awards, including those for Outstand Academic Achievement and Excellence.
