Persons arrested for forgery

Late last week, a Pike County man was arrested and subsequently charged with five felony counts of forgery, a class C felony.

Thomas E. Persons, a 33-year-old Vandalia resident, was arrested on charges stemming from an investigation conducted by Detective Jeff Kaufman  of the Bowling Green Police Department.

Kaufman’s research determined multiple credit and debit cards were stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot of True Manufacturing on May 31. Then, on the same date, those stolen cards were fraudulently used at four different businesses within the city limits of Bowling Green.
