Foster given Speaker Award

BGHS 2013 graduate Cheyenne Foster was presented the Speaker’s Award on behalf of the Champ Clark Honeyshuck committee and Elenore Schewe.

The award is presented each year to a “deserving graduate of Bowling Green High School who has expressed interest in post-secondary education in the field of history, public policy, law, political science, or international studies.” The recipient of the award must also exhibit records of achievements in scholarship, leadership, and community service for which Champ Clark is to be remembered.

Foster was presented a certificate of recognition and a check for $350 at Honeyshuck Friday evening. Spon-soring boards are Champ Clark Honey-shuck Restoration, Inc. and the Elenore A. Schewe Educational Endowment Fund.
