Bowling Green boy saves grandmother

Nine-year-old Deven Freie may look and act like an ordinary elementary schooler, but recently his bravery was nothing if not extraordinary.

Deven’s grandmother, Vickie Feldmann, has battled with health issues for years. Complications with her Diabetes came to a head early the afternoon of Monday, June 3.

After Vickie noticed her blood sugar dropping, the duo moved to her kitchen. While Deven was making sub sandwiches for them to enjoy, he was shocked to see Vickie, his “Mamaw,” collapse and fall to the floor from her motorized wheelchair.
