Assault, burglary suspect to face July arraignment
A Bowling Green man accused of violent actions following a alleged dispute involving a former girlfriend is to be arraigned next month in Pike County courts.
Joshua Niffen, 21, has been charged with felony counts of burglary and assault – causing serious injury after an incident that occurred on March 28.
Niffen is accused of entering an apartment and assaulting a person.
The defendant, represented by attorney Dean Gallego, was seen for a preliminary hearing last Wednesday. He will appear again in Pike County circuit courts before Judge Chris Kunza Mennemeyer for a July 23 arraignment.
According to available reports, Niffen has no previous criminal record.
