Children will explore all things underground this summer as the Bowling Green Public Library presents “Dig Into Reading” during their summer library program.

Activities may include programs on dinosaurs, construction vehicles, animals that live underground, Ancient Egypt, caves, rocks, and more.

The 2013 Summer Reading Program is open to children ages three to 10 years of age. Story Hour for children three through six years of age will be held on Tuesday mornings beginning July 2 and run through Tuesday, July 30. The time for this program is 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Stories, crafts, snacks, and more will keep the children entertained.

Each Tuesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., children age seven through 10 years of age may participate in our “Craft Time”. A different craft will be made each week.

If you would like your child to participate in this program, please register them in advance as we only have openings for 10 children per week.
