Honeyshuck to retire Hungate flag

The public is invited to join the Honeyshuck house on July 26 at 2:30 p.m. for a special event.

The Champ Clark Museum will be retiring the United States Flag which stood at the desk of Congressman William Hungate in his office in Washington D.C. during his service as the 9th District Representative. The Bowling Green VFW will officially retire the flag.

Everyone is invited to attend the flag retirement and enjoy looking at through the house and visiting with Hungate’s wife Dottie. Refreshments will be served.
