Howard arrested for forgery

A Farber man was recently arrested on felony charges following the issuance of a warrant by the Pike County Circuit Court.

On Thursday, July 11 a warrant for seven counts of felony forgery was issued by the Circuit Court charging 31-year-old Christopher Dean Howard with forgery, a class C felony.

A subsequent investigation completed by officers of the Bowling Green Police Department determined that Howard had used stolen credit cards at various locations in Bowling Green. The charge cards had been stolen during a burglary in Audrain County.

Howard’s bond was set at $10,000 cash only. As of Tuesday, July 16, public defender Lisa Morrow had made a motion for a bond reduction. According to available files, Howard has no prior criminal record in Pike County.
