Facing fear, trusting God

Middletown Baptist Church is announcing our 2013 VBS Program for children, youth
and adults of the region.

The Theme of the VBS is Colossal Coaster World: Facing Fear,
Trusting God. We serve a great and mighty God who desires our victory over fears concerning
life and death. God encourages us to face our fears in His supernatural care and provision.

We are hoping that the children and teens would come and that their parents and
grandparents would also participate as we provide a class for adults who desire to learn how to lead their family in spiritual victory.

As Pastor of Middletown Baptist Church I have challenged our leaders to set a goal of
more than 100 participants registered for this VBS. If we meet or exceed this goal I am willing to allow the older teens to color my hair red and blue and spike it and take pictures for face book
and the papers.

We will have a Free Registration Kick-Off BBQ and Carnival on Sunday evening,
Aug. 4 and we invite all of the families of the area to come to the free BBQ and concert that
evening from 6 p.m. to 8 :30p.m.

We will have carnival games, horseshoes, volleyball, and treats for the kids such as popcorn, cotton candy, and liquid refreshments. It is all free to folks of our region.

The VBS will be from Monday night through Friday night, Aug. 5 to 9, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
