  • MCAC resumes classes

    Now that the holidays are over, the Montgomery County Arts Council Art Center is resuming crochet classes and Open Studio evenings as well as some new offerings.   • Courthouse gives to Toys for Tots

    Employees of the Pike County Courthouse helped provide Christmas gifts for area families in need this year through the Toys for Tots campaign.  They combined their efforts with local Boy Scout Troop 177, Carl Ulrich, Scoutmaster.  Ryan and Heather Daffron chaired the toy drive which filled all the needs that were given through NECAC along with a donation of items to AVENUES.

    Deborah Duckworth, 51, is a self-described “Keno girl,” admitting that she does not play Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets that often.
