BGMS to host recycling, disposal event

The Bowling Green Middle School will once again be hosting an electronic and hazardous waste drop off/recycling event. The event will be similar to what the school did last year, although it is planned to be set up at the shelter house next to the pool in order to use the larger parking lots for the drop off.   Event Details BG City Park April 11 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

    William Woods University has released the Dean’s List for academic accomplishments during the 2014 fall term. Among those listed: Emily Andrews of Middletown Lauren McBeth of Eolia Kelsey Scherder of Bowling Green To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must be full-time and have achieved a minimum 3.6 semester and cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.   • MS StuCo delivers donations

    StuCo Hope Center

    Bowling Green Middle School Student Council representatives Caleigh Grote, Clint Bailey, and Luke Hildebrand, with sponsor Ms. Christina Allensworth, delivered canned items to the Hope Center that were collected at their school’s Second Quarter Celebration.  The middle school as a whole collected 404 canned items for donation.

  • Gamm earns Bachelor’s at Lindenwood University

    Lauren Gamm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Lindenwood University during their December 2014 commencement exercises. While at Lindenwood, Gamm earned Dean’s List honors several semesters and worked as a Resident Assistant in the dorms. Gamm worked alongside the staff and students at Bowling Green Elementary School to complete her student teaching. Gamm will be spending her time as a substitue teacher for local schools with
