TLC honors military personnel

The infants and toddlers at The Learning Center in Bowling Green made cards to send to military personnel.  They used they handprints to make trees and their footprints to make reindeer.  The Learning Center staff added a note thanking the military personnel for their service.  The children pictured making the cards are Jaelyn Huber, Lyla Robinson, Ragan Stewart, Mallory Matlock, and Brynlee Schumacher.

  • R-1 School Board to seek food service bids – At-risk student policies discussed

    At-risk students, district food services, and the recent HVAC project were all topics discussed during Monday’s school board meeting.     The Bowling Green High School class of 1954 held their reunion at the Saints Avenue Cafe on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day was spent sharing news of absent members and remembering old times.
