PLTC students attend conference

Pike-Lincoln Technical Center (PLTC) students attended the Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference at Linn State Technical College in Linn April 3 through 5. Students left from PLTC early Thursday morning and spent the next three days competing and representing our school in different contests.     The Louisiana Area Historical Museum will present its annual spring luncheon Saturday, May 10, featuring Carolyn Miller of Sedalia.   • Nazarene church plans Easter service

    Second Baptist Church will be celebrating Easter Sunday with two worship services.   • Hope Center holds Appreciation Banquet

    The Hope Center Appreciation Banquet was held April 7, at the Second Baptist Church. The dinner is sponsored each year by the Bowling Green Ministerial Association to celebrate and honor the volunteers and the board of the Hope Center.     Humorist Julie Patrick-Barnhill will be speaking for a fundraiser at the Bowling Green High School Auditorium on Saturday, May 3, at 2 pm. Barnhill is a Missouri girl, a graduate of Brunswick High School and Hannibal LaGrange University, humorist, national/international speaker, author of 11 books, columnist, radio guest speaker, former elementary teacher, and a mother of three children. Her focus addresses the realities of parenting, life, home, work, and eternity.
