Second Baptist welcomes Watoto program

Watoto, a holistic care program, initiated to serve the dire needs of Africa and her people, is thrilled to present a brand new choir tour entitled Beautiful Africa: A New Generation. The production will be presented at the Family Resource Center, Edgewood on April 25 at 7 p.m.  The tour began in Dallas, TX and will tour for six months visiting several cities throughout the U.S. including Albuquerque, NM, Oklahoma

  • PLTC students attend conference

    Pike-Lincoln Technical Center (PLTC) students attended the Missouri SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference at Linn State Technical College in Linn April 3 through 5. Students left from PLTC early Thursday morning and spent the next three days competing and representing our school in different contests.     The Louisiana Area Historical Museum will present its annual spring luncheon Saturday, May 10, featuring Carolyn Miller of Sedalia.
