Alumni Banquet Saturday – Miller to keynote

The highly-anticipated annual Bowling Green High School Alumni Banquet this this Saturday, Oct. 11. The event will begin with registration at 5 p.m. The banquet, which includes a dinner, will start at 6:30 p.m. in the James A. Wilson Gymnasium (middle school).     Homecoming is this Friday, and the Bowling Green High School student council has planned several events for the week. The group has decided to bring back spirit points.   • Vietnam memorial to be hosted by DAR

    A 50th anniversary Vietnam commemorative service will be held at the Veterans Wall at the Courthouse Square at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23. The event is sponsored by the Bowling Green DAR and the public is invited to attend. After the program the regular DAR meeting will commence at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. The public is also invited to the October meeting.
