St. Clement crowds Mardi Gras royalty

Members of the St. Clement School and parish crowned their Mardi Gras royalty during the annual celebration, held the first weekend of the month.   • Bank of Louisiana pledges to Fairground project

    The Pike County Fairgrounds will hopefully be receiving a facelift thanks to a generous pledge donation from Bank of Louisiana. At the last Fair Board meeting, a proposal was made regarding the construction of a new outdoor canopy and stage on the track, which would allow for the hosting of larger entertainment events, as well as better service the current acts it hosts annually. Republicians hold meeting, discuss plans for Lincoln Day Dinner
