BGHS Class of 1954 holds reunion

The Bowling Green High School class of 1954 held their reunion at the Saints Avenue Cafe on Saturday, Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The day was spent sharing news of absent members and remembering old times.   • Farmers, ranchers encouraged to make their voices heard – FSA county elections began Monday

    The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is encouraging farmers and ranchers to make their voices heard by voting in the upcoming Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee elections. FSA Administrator Val Dolcini announced that beginning Monday, Nov. 3, USDA will mail ballots for the 2014 elections to eligible producers across the country.   • Cancer Memorial Park donates to area groups

    Pike County Health Department, Home Health and Hospice Administrator Chris Deeken accepts a donation from Cancer Memorial Park Foundation President Karen Daffron.

    The season for giving has begun a little early this year as the Cancer Memorial Park Foundation (CMPF) recently presented two $1,000 checks to area organizations. The group is currently trying to obtain names and addresses for this project.
