Bobcats stomp Owls at Silex

Despite some wet spring weather, the Bobcats were able to rally on the diamond and at bat last Tuesday, April 1 at Silex. The ‘Cats ultimately beat the Owls with a 8-4 victory.     Bowling Green R-I School District administrators made an announcement last week that has excited many local residents, as well as Bobcat basketball fans. Master of  Ceremonies Matt Chance greeted guests and introduced cheer coach Beth Gschwender and then poms coach Theresa Cannon, both of whom announced their resignations as leaders of their squads.     The Lady Cats suffered a disappointing loss in the MRMC Holiday Shootout tournament Dec. 28 as they battled the California Lady Pintos.
