Bobcats hammer Bulldogs

A great effort by pitcher Austin Noble hoisted the Bowling Green Bobcats to an 8-0 win in seven innings over Louisiana on Thursday at Wallace-Memorial Park. Noble kept Louisiana off the scoreboard for all seven innings. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out nine.     Bowling Green was well represented at Saturday’s EMO Senior Showcase basketball game, held at Mark Twain High School. Lauren Sparks and Cory Buchanan (pictured) were the three-point contest champions. Also selected for the games were Breanna Bixby and Adam Holt. Boys coach Cary Bibb was selected to coach the boys Team One for the Showcase.

  • Football players receive Academic All State honors

  • Bobcats claim season opener win

    The Bobcats baseball team started their regular season on a high note Monday night.     Bowling Green’s 2014-2015 Bobcats basketball team not only had an impressive, nearly undefeated, season, but they also achieved goals not seen since 2009.     Bowling Green’s boys were once again on fire as they battled Macon during the second round of Districts last Wednesday.
