Single run spells victory for Lady Cats at Palmyra

A single run was enough to propel the Lady Cats to the victor’s chair last Monday in Palmyra. The Lady Cats didn’t provide Madison Ingram with much support in the runs department, but she fortunately didn’t need it.     Madison Ingram threw a shut out game Monday against Louisiana. She totaled 19 first pitch strikes.

    The Lady Cats volleyball team continues to show improvement as their season progresses. Monday evening, the Lady Cats battled the visiting Hannibal. The JV girls lost in to sets, 21-25 and 17-25. Varsity also lost in two. The first game was 9-25, but the girls rallied back and went 17-25 in the second game. “Both teams were very scrappy, it was a great match to watch,” said head coach Erin VanDyke.
