    The Bobcats baseball team started their regular season on a high note Monday night. Bowling Green hosted Warrenton and came out with a seven-inning 13-9 win.  Stats were unavailable at press time.   Pick up this week’s edition of the Times for photos from the BG Jamboree.   • Park Board moves forward with T-ball field project – Board status debate continues

    Bowling Green’s 2014-2015 Bobcats basketball team not only had an impressive, nearly undefeated, season, but they also achieved goals not seen since 2009.     Bowling Green High School’s cheerleaders, Dazzlers dance team, and girls and boys basketball teams were all honored as a part of Monday’s Winter Athletic Ceremony.     Bowling Green’s boys were once again on fire as they battled Macon during the second round of Districts last Wednesday. The Bobcats’ 61-40 win proved enough to send them to the championship round. Sophomore hotshot Tyess Chatman was leading scorer for the Cats, making 22 points.     The Lady Cats had an unfortunate opening round of Districts last week. Bowling Green’s girls played Clark County Tuesday, Feb. 24 and ultimately suffered a 43-28 loss.     The Bobcats are the Class 3 District 7 District Champions! The title came with a 85-70 victory over Highland Saturday afternoon at an electrified, packed-house Palmyra High School.
