The alleged wheelman of three of the five escapees from the Sept. 8 Pike County jail break is scheduled to face a jury trial next week.
Tordale Chatman, a 32-year-old Lousiana man, has been charged with three felony counts of hindering prosecution following the 2012 jailbreak.
The defendant allegedly assumed the position as the escapees’ wheelman when he drove three of the jailbreak suspects to Louisiana the night of the incident.
The defendant was originally scheduled to face a jury on June 6. After a request for continuance, the trial was moved to July 25.
