Options for Women opened in May 2016 and serves pregnant women from Pike County and surrounding counties. Since opening last May, over 40 women have been served. The Center is sustained by the generosity of donors and community volunteers.
Participants in this year’s Walk for Life will walk at their own pace and strollers are welcome. Family friendly activities in conjunction with the walk are a Bounce House and face painting.
Food items including grilled hamburgers, porkburgers, hotdogs, fruit and chips will be available from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Carry outs will be available for those not participating in the walk event.
In advance of the walk, participants are encouraged to ask friends, family and co-workers for a donation to benefit the pregnancy resource center. Many local churches will have information about the walk. Another option is to register online at or call Options for Women at 573-324-5115 to request paper registration
