A Mass of the Christian Burial for Mr. Anthony Adam Parnell, 27, of Bowling Green, were held on Friday, March 15 at the St. Clement Catholic Church in St. Clement. Father Bill Peckman officiated. Burial will be in the St. Clement Catholic Cemetery.
Mr. Parnell passed away on March 9, 2013 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.
He was born on July 3, 1985 in Louisiana to Harvey and Dixie Shade Parnell.
He is survived by his parents, Harvey and Dixie Parnell of Louisiana; his significant other, Shea Bagley of Bowling Green; an uncle, Jim Shade and wife Sandy of Louisiana; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shanda Marie Elliott; his maternal grandparents, Ruth and Ira Shade; and paternal grandparents, Bessie and Alvie Parnell.
Anthony was known as one of the kindest, caring, and helpful person you could know. After high school he attended the Pike-Lincoln Tech Center, studying computer sciences.
He was a certified computer technician and owned and operated Louisiana Computer Services for several years. He was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church and his god mother was Cathy Dean.
He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hiking, and caring for animals. He was athletic and enjoyed exercising.
Pallbearers were James Shade, John Shade, Joshua Shade, Frank Hathaway, Herbert Sisco, and Joe Thomas.
