BGMS Track Coach
Every coach has a dream to be a part of an undefeated season.
Coaching at BGMS this season has fulfilled that dream.
Not only did we have an all-star cast of athletes, but the parents and fans were a great addition to our team as well.
I want my athletes to not only do well in their sport, but also excel as they mature and graduate high school.
I want them to look back and be proud of their life and how far they have come when they are older.
In regards to the season, the boys broke a school record in the 4×800-meter relay with a time of 9:53.47.
The athletes that broke the record were Owen Niemeyer, Colton Hearn, Brandon Gamm, and Charlie Bowen.
We also had an outstanding athlete in the 1600-meter run and the 800-meter run by the name of Colton Hearn. He won the 1600 and the 800 runs almost every meet that we participated in.
We also had some really good point grinders on the throwing hill from Ryan Capps, Kaden Chandler, and Seth Huber.
The final notables that led us to victory this season were the boys 4×400-meter team.
They went undefeated all season and were very close to breaking the school in this event. The 4×400 was ran by Brandon Gamm, Dylan “The Relay King” Dalton, Gunner Bryant, and Charlie Bowen.
There are so many others that could be mentioned on this list, but as all great writers know, we can’t fit everything in one single article. Bottom line, it was a great season and I will forever be proud to call msyelf a Bobcat.
