Bowling Green’s Board of Aldermen held a special meeting before their regular business Monday night. All Board members were in attendance.
During the special meeting, the issue of all terrain vehicles, including uses and prohibitions was discussed. The bill was approved unanimously.
In the Board of Aldermen’s regular meeting, written reports were submitted by Alliance, the building inspector, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, and City Administrator.
A motion to petition the full Board for entering into a contract for removal of the fence row near the airport was approved unanimously.
There was unanimous vote for the petition of vacating a street/alleyway. This petition will be presented to the full Board for decision.
Discussion to approve up to 85 percent of Walmart sales tax revenue to be allocated to the city’s project fund account was had. It was approved unanimously to take the motion to the full Board for decision.
Krista Flowers Luebrecht voiced her concern over policies, procedures being followed, and the ability of customer service to allow consideration of past payment history when it comes to services being disconnected.
The meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote.
