Bowling Green High School’s Bobcat cross country teams did very well at the Saturday, Oct. 3, state meet.
The school held an assembly Friday morning to wish the runners good luck. As the team’s bus was leaving town, it was met by several supporting families and friends, as well as handmade signs on light poles and several area businesses.
The boys placed ninth, and the girls placed eighth. There were 16 teams competing in the Class 2 race.
