The Bowling Green hometown team took a fall by just a single run at Monroe City last Monday. It was a numbers game with the odds in Bobcats favor, but the red and black boys just couldn’t make it around the diamond. Monroe City’s Panthers were victorious 2-1.
Junior David Goddard was at the mound for six innings, pitching a strike percentage of 61. The Bobcat threw 10 strikeouts and allowed six hits. Goddard pitched three base on balls and a total of 10 first pitch strikes out of 27 batters faced.
