Associate Circuit Court Judge David H. Ash will hear oral arguments on Wednesday regarding the possible bond reduction of Shawn Michael Maxey, 24, of Bowling Green.

Maxey was arrested earlier this month and charged by Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher for domestic assault.

According to the probable cause statement filed with the Pike County Circuit Court Clerk’s office, Maxey physically struck an unidentified woman during an altercation on November 10.

Maxey is currently being held on a $7,500 cash-only bond. He is represented in court by Grant W. Wobig, an attorney with the local Public Defender’s office.

According to court records, Maxey previously faced charges of domestic assault in September 2014.

Maxey and his attorney are scheduled to appear before Judge Ash at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
