‘CATS & HAWKS Rivals Become Allies In Fight Against Cancer

Following the completion of the inaugural Strike Out Cancer game between the two longtime rival sports programs, the Clopton Lady Hawks, pictured in light pink, and the Bowling Green Lady ‘Cats, pictured in dark pink, gathered for a photo on the infield. The two teams met for the game on Tuesday, October 2, in Bowling Green. Proceeds from the event, which included commemorative t-shirt sales and monetary donations, were in excess of $600 and will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
