Bowling Green Ministerial Alliance (BGMA) will be hosting the Community Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. at First Christian Church, 15 North High in Bowling Green.
Reverend Dr. Michael Gillen will be bringing the message.
Refreshments of cookies and punch will follow in the Campbell classroom.
Everyone is invited to come to this uplifting service.
Thos attending are asked to bring a canned food item to go to the Hope Center. An offering will be taken to assist the BGMA with their assistance program.
The BGMA is organized of the church pastors in and around Bowling Green. BGMA assists people with food, hotel, gas and, as the funds are available, some utility bills. They will help someone once a year and they help itinerant travelers who might be travelling through this area and are having problems.
They organize the Thanksgiving Service, Community Good Friday Service and the high school Baccalaureate. BGMA’s funding comes from offering by individuals, churches and the Thanksgiving offering.
