A water leak from the second-floor men’s room in the Pike County Courthouse damaged several offices this week. The leak was found just before 5 p.m. Saturday. Court House Officials believe the leak was caused by a damaged fitting.
Approximately an inch of water flooded the offices of the commissioners, county clerk, treasurer, and collections on the second floor. Water also travelled through ceilings to the first floor, damaging other offices and halls. Insurance is expected to cover any damages.
