Neil Darnell, of Louisiana, has been hired as the Northeast Community Action Corporation Pike County Service Coordinator.
He replaces Dana Gordy, who recently accepted another full-time position outside of the agency.
“We welcome Neil to NECAC,” said NECAC President and CEO Don Patrick. “His years of experience in working with people from all walks of life will be of immeasurable help in serving clients.”
“I like working at NECAC because it gives me a chance to help families and those in need,” Darnell said.
Darnell graduated from Louisiana High School in 1990 and received a bachelor’s degree in education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville in 1997.
Darnell spent seven years teaching GED educational classes at the Northeast Cor-rectional Center in Bowling Green. He also was an ad salesman for the Louisiana Press-Journal and at Ruth Jensen Village in Bowling Green.
Darnell and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, Trenton, Tori, and Christian. He also operates TNT Enter-tainment.
