Everhart fights in worldwide competition

Late last month, Shawn Everhart, of Bowling Green, competed in the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation’s Chicago Spring International Open at Chicago State University. Shawn is a student at Gracie Barra Hannibal and competed for Gracie Barra, one of the largest, and most traditional, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu organizations in the world. Everhart’s division, Masters Two-Male-Medium-Heavy-White Belt, had nine athletes in competition. After several matches, the Bowling Green man placed third overall, winning the bronze medal.
