The youth and adults at First Presbyterian have been busy sharing the harvest this October.
Taking the opportunity to reflect on our many blessings and how to share them with others, the JAMPAC Ingathering was held Oct. 7 at Providence-Concord Presbyterian Church.
JAMPAC stands for Joint Area Ministries-Presbyterian Area Churches. Those participating in this event were from Providence-Concord, Bowling Green and Antioch Presbyterian Churches.
Kits and blankets have been collected throughout September and were dedicated at a service Sunday. The service was followed with a hayride and wiener roast. The kits will be taken to Sedalia and joined with churches throughout the area and then redistributed back into communities.
BGFP Outreach Committee will host a Feed the Team event Oct. 19 at the Pike County Fairgrounds. They will be providing dinner to the Bowling Green Cross Country Track Team, coaches and parents following their meet that day.
The Second Annual Trunk or Treat will be held Oct. 28 in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian beginning at 6 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be 11 fun and exciting activity stations including games, tattoos, crafts and snacks.
Then the fun moves to the parking lot where cars will be set and decorated and ready for the children to trunk or treat. Area children are invited to join us. Donations of canned goods for the Hope Center will be appreciated for the event.
