On Saturday, August 18, the Frankford First Christian (Disciples of Christ) Church will hold a free breakfast to commemorate the northern Pike County community’s annual Park Day.
Park Day is held annually in mid-August.
The breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits ‘n’ gravy, biscuits with jelly, juice and coffee.
The church is located at 111 North Main Cross Street in Frankford.
Off-street parking is available behind the church. Additional parking is available alongside King Street.
Everyone, regardless of church affiliation, is invited to join the church congregation for the breakfast and for the rest of the day’s activities in the city park.
While the breakfast is free, donations will be accepted. Donations will be used to pay for the church’s new roof.
