In the spirit of giving to the community and in conjunction with the celebration of Pike County’s bicentennial, the Curryville Presbyterian Church will offer a free breakfast to anyone who wishes to attend on Saturday, December 14, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
The church regularly offers a free meal in even-numbered months, according to Fay Miller, a member of the congregation. It was decided that the bicentennial breakfast would take its place this December.
“We feel we have been blessed,” Miller said, explaining why the church offers free meals. “We want to share that blessing with the community.”
“This breakfast is another way for us to give back to the whole county,” she said.
