Memorial services for Henry William Martin, Sr., 63, of Louisiana, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 26 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Robert Hutsell will officiate.
Visitation will be held from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. April 26, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana. Henry passed away at his home near Louisiana, Saturday, April 20, 2013.
He was born Oct. 3, 1949 in Louisiana, the son of Lacy William Martin and Mary Bell Chandler Martin.
He is survived by the love of his life for 40 years, Rita Miller, of Louisiana; three sons, Shawn Rue and friend, Sheri Zumwalt, Henry Martin and wife, Cathy, of Bowling Green, and Will Martin and wife, Laura, of Louisiana; three daughters, Kim Luebrecht and Rob Brown, of Bowling Green, Mary Jo Kimmel and husband, Thomas, of Caulfield, and Tanya Miller, of Forsyth; one brother, Elvis Marting, of Louisiana; two sisters, Kitty Ann McCurdy, of Middletown and Mary Elliott, of Louisiana; and 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy and Mary Chandler Martin; two brothers, Leroy Johnson and Jerry Martin; and one sister, Dora Mae Barker.
He had been employed at the Louisiana Foundry for 36 years. Retiring when the foundry closed, he also owned and operated a cattle farm near Louisiana.
In his spare time he loved to boat on the Mississippi River and was an avid hunter.
Honorary pallbearers are grandsons Josh Martin, Zach Martin, Shawn Rue, Logan Rue, R.J. Branham, Damon Luebrecht and special friend Darrell Malcom.
