Two Bowling Green High School track athletes, Adam Holt and Kylie Conrow, qualified for the Class 3 State Track Meet, held Saturday, May 31 in Jefferson City.
Adam Holt, a BGHS junior, qualified in the boys long jump. With a distance of 20’5”, Holt placed tenth in his event.
“Adam had a tremendous season and participating at state was a great experience for him,” said head track coach Matt Chance. “I look for him to be very motivated to place in the all state range next year.”
BGHS senior (graduated) Kylie Conrow qualified for the State Meet in two events: girls long jump and triple jump. With a distance of 17’3”, Conrow placed fourth and was named All-State in the long jump. A length of 35’2” earned her the ninth place title in the triple jump.
“Kylie finished her career as one of the best track and cross country athletes to ever go through BGHS,” Chance said. “She owns five school records and six all-state honors for track and cross country. She has really made a name for herself in these two sports and I look for continued success as she attends UMKC next fall.”
