Another October has arrived, and with it, so comes the annual Honeyshuck banquet.
Keeping with tradition, this year’s event will be held Thursday Oct. 25 in the Bowling Green First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. The evening gets underway at 6:30 p.m.
Each year, the banquet is highlighted by a guest speaker. Past editions have featured Ben Clark, Champ Clark’s great-grandson, Jim Longo and Henry Sweets.
Last year’s speaker was Dr. Cindy Lovell, executive director of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum in Hannibal.
