They have perhaps one of the most important jobs in Bowling Green – ensuring that visitors to the city pool are safe.
The young adults that lifeguard are part of a long-standing tradition of exceptional commitment to the safety of swimmers young and old that take a dip in the city’s pool.
With what many may deem as a “cake walk” summer gig comes tremendous responsibility. Lifeguards at the Bowling Green pool are constantly attentive to the goings-on at all ends of the pool, and quick to remind eager children to slow down and walk on the wet concrete.
