All-state cross country and track runner Kate Klott signed her letter of intent to continue her education and athletic career with the Columbia College Cougars on Monday morning. Klott signed the letter in a ceremony attended by her fellow cross country athletes, BGHS students, BGHS faculty members, and her family and friends.
Klott has competed in numerous events over her career as a member of the track and field and cross country programs. Her participation has helped lead the Lady ‘Cats to multiple appearances atop of the awards podium at both track and field and cross country championships. Klott is pictured seated with her parents, Joe and Stephanie Klott, of rural Curryville. Chance is also the head coach of the Bowling Green High School Cross Country program.
