A strong first quarter may have sealed the deal for the Lady Cats Friday night, as they defeated the visiting Mark Twain Lady Tigers 46-38.
With an 11-3 lead at the end of the first quarter, Mark Twain wasn’t able to pull off a lead throughout the contest.
Bowling Green’s offensive success was lacking, although it wasn’t enough to result in a loss. The Lady Cats only made 36 percent of their shots and 77 percent of their free throws.
Harli Lindsay impressed offensively, gaining 20 points for Bowling Green. Kylie Conrow followed, making 12.
The Lady Cats got 21 total rebounds and made three blocks.
