On Friday, the Bowling Green High School Lady Bobcats track and field team traveled to Louisiana to compete in the 2018 Cunningham Invitational.
Below are the results of the track meet:
100 Meter Run
Saige Mayfield, a junior at BGHS, placed first in the event with a time of 13.75. Also competing from BGHS in the 100 Meter Run was Cheyanne Talley, who finished in fourth-place with a time of 14.02.
200 Meter Run
In the 200 Meter Run on Friday, both Hannah Kroencke and Kinley Charlton recorded their best times in the event. Kroencke, a senior at BGHS, finished in third-place with a time of 28.56. Charlton, a sophomore at BGHS, finished in fourth-place with a time of 29.21.
400 Meter Run
In the 400 Meter Run, Bowling Green’s Quinn Grote finished in second-place with a time of 1:03.40. Also competing in the event from BGHS was Madeline Perry, who finished in eighth-place with a time of 1:12.19.
800 Meter Run
All-state runner Kate Klott finished in first place as she posted a 1:36.42 time in the 800 meter run. Following closely behind her was Camy Grote, who finished in second-place with a time of 2:44:32.
1600 Meter Run
BGHS junior Kate Klott finished in first-place in the 1600 meter run, which she finished with a time of 6:03.53. Also competing in the event from BGHS was Nichole Bruni, who finished in fifth-place with a time of 6:30.27.
3200 Meter Run
Sylvia Wagner, a sophomore at BGHS, placed first in the event with a time of 12:55.94. Running just behind her was Taylor Blair, a freshman from BGHS, who came in third with a time of 14:13.71.
