Last Thursday night the Lady Cat volleyball girls earned their first win of the season against the Pleasant Hill Wolves.
Bowling Green gained the win in two sets, with close 26-24 and 25-23 victories.
“They had much more confidence in their offense, with 16 kills of 53 attempts as compared to 6 kills against Wright City and 0 against Warrenton,” said head coach Erin VanDyke.
Kaycee Sutton lead the team in kills with six, followed by Brooke Bruns with four, Kirsten White with three, and Shiann Truelove, Evan Scherder and Tori Nichols with one each.
Truelove had three aces, followed by Alyssa Sloan and Kirsten White with two each, and Bruns with one.
The JV Lady Cats lost both of their sets with close scores of 23-25 and 22-25.
