After several years of operating the Trailerman Express train at area fairs and festivals, Charlie and Mary Perkins, of rural Louisiana, have donated the child-size engine and train cars to the Little Explorers on the condition that the train continues to be used at community events throughout Pike County and that no child will ever be charged admission to ride on the train.
Pictured accepting the donation are members of the Little Explorers, who are pictured in the train’s engine and coal car. Pictured are, from left: Holden Buchanan, Arion Tika, Flori Tika, Bailey Delgman, Mac Kaiser, Zachary Koenig, and Maxwell Koenig.
