The Bowling Green Public Library is displaying art selections by area artists.
The library is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our area artists to have additional support and art exposure by our community,” said Sheri Grote, Bowling Green Middle School art teacher.
The library’s display case works wonderfully to showcase the variety of works including two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) concepts.
The library’s current selections include: BGMS paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe inspirations, ceramic sculptures, glazed goblets, papier mache’ sculptures and portraits painted in watercolor. Exhibits will rotate monthly including artwork from the BGHS, BGMS, and BGES.
