Outlaw Rodeo Productions and  the Bowling Green local 5J Rodeo Company will join forces again this month to host a benefit rodeo in Palmyra.   Proceeds will be donated to the local MDA chapter in memory of Chase Anderson.

The 2013 Chase Anderson MDA Memorial Rodeo will be held on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at Rockin’A Arena, 5303 Hwy C, Palmyra. Show begins each evening at 7:30pm.

This is one of the major events held in the state-of-the-art, indoor arena with full concessions area and public seating on 14 acres. Our first annual MDA rodeo packed the arena with over 2,000 visitors.

Cowboys and cowgirls will compete for prize money that weekend in steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, calf and team roping, barrel racing, bull riding and much more.

Outlaw Rodeo Productions, of Columbia, will assume the role as producer for this event. 5J Rodeo Company, of Curryville, will be acting as stock contractor. Company owners Mike Gillum and Lance McCollum join forces to put on a show that will impress even the most regular rodeo fan.

Since 1988 Outlaw Rodeo has entertained more than two million fans across the states of Missouri, Illinois,  Kansas, and more, including the renowned Mark Twain Lake Rodeo.

“Outlaw hosts the ultimate rodeo experience with all the elements from great music to pyrotechnics that will satisfy the traditional rodeo fan and wild enough to excite the new breed of rodeo fanatic,” boasts the company’s website.

Last year welcomed the first annual Chase Anderson Memorial Rodeo. In 2012, over $25,000 was raised and donated to MDA research from this event alone. Please join them for an exciting weekend of rodeo action and for a great cause.
